| Details: | SUMMARY: will be selling water to nearby PWS DETAILS: Kathy called wondering what their responsibility is if they are to sell treated water to another water system via a tanker truck. No water lines exists to the water system. For Yoncalla, there isnt much in the way of regulatory issues. They have an ordinance that currently states that water that is sold in bulk cannot be used for potable uses (in past used for fire protection). They will change that ordinance. For the buyer, I explained that there are only hauled water guidelines, but that the purchaser would be wise to know them well to make sure the water would stay potable. She is not sure of the name of the water system (Lower Crest?? Not a system listed), but said it is just to the south. They should call us or the county, because if this is a seasonal thing, trucked in water would be considered a new source, so it would need to be added to the inventory. ACTION NEEDED: if the county HD personnel knows of this system, someone could contact them. | ||
