Details:	SUMMARY: Positive routine sample on 4/27/06. (Total Coliform and E. Coli positive) DETAILS: 5/1/06-This alert response was delayed as it arrived 5:30 pm on Friday. I talked to Jim Blankenship as I could not reach Mike Perry (system contact) at the give contact number (contact number is wrong see contact change). Jim is not sure why the sample was positive. He shocked the system today and is going to resample tomorrow once the chlorine residual is back down. I instructed Jim that this is a violation of sampling protocol and that he should have done four repeats within 24 hours. Because the system has gone 72 hours with out repart sampling, I required public notice. Jim had already done public notice and has everyone drinking bottled water. ACTION NEEDED: Jim needs to take four repeat samples as soon as the chlorine residual is back down (today 5/2/06 to normal operating levels).
