| Details: | SUMMARY: Concrete reservoir coatings and repair DETAILS: BACKGROUND: The concrete reservoir for this system is leaking badly and system has been investigating options for repair or patching. Mr Reitz has two plastic storage tanks for temporary storage while existing storage is drained, dried out and repaired. He is searching for a coating that will work on concrete and is NSF approved. ACTIONS PERFORMED: I researched on line and contacted operators who have worked with repairing concrete tanks. A compound named Thoroseal, manufactured by BASF Building Systems was highly recommended by two sources that had experience using it. I was also informed of a company in Springfield that manufactures HDPE liners that could be installed inside the reservoir. I passed on this information and contacts to Mr Reitz via e-mail on 12.26.06. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
