Details: SUMMARY: Environmental review requirements DETAILS: Christy called to discuss options associated with environmental review requirements for the City of Dallas, SRF Application #033003164. Project started out as one, but is being partitioned for the purposes of environmental review. There are multiple elements to the overall project, with one activity (new reservoir) addressed via a CatEx (finalized 1/4/07). Second CatEx request submitted 10/6/06, but no determination made in anticipation of a request involving ALL remaining project elements. But, the Raw Water Transmission Pipeline project is now priority, so a second, project-specific determination will now be made. CatEx request approved via 3/5/07 letter, with public notification and OECDD concurrence required prior to issuance of funds. Letter included reminder that remaining project elements must still be addressed via environmental review before construction and/or funding. ACTION NEEDED: 3/5/07 CatEx approval letter issued by DWP. City must provide evidence of public notification, and get OECDD approval, prior to proceeding. DWP will complete environmental review on remaining project elements when further request(s) are made.
