Details:	SUMMARY: Contact tracer study DETAILS: The Wickiup Water District owns and operates 2 water treatment plants to treat surface water that supply water to approximately 620 connections with a population of approximately 1,702 people. WTP-A is a slow sand filter plant rated for 100 gpm. WTP-B is a package treatment plant with coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and rapid sand filtration rated for 150 gpm. The plant was designed for 175 gpm, however, the maximum output is 150 gpm due to the poor water quality produced at 175 gpm. Both plants have post hypochlorination. Received call from WWD operator requesting assistance with contact tracer study. Test could not be performed on 5/16/06 due to plant not performing correctly during time of visit. Test was then performed on 10/11/06 for WTP-B. Performed CT study data collection for WTP-B by increasing flow through clearwell to peak levels while increasing chlorine dosage. Completed CT study report. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time on this issue. District has additional issues regarding failure of lead/copper test and need for flow meter and contact tracer study for WTP-A.
