Details:	SUMMARY: The nitrate sample collected on 02/19/07 had a level of 6.47 ppm. DETAILS: 04/12/07- (received alert). I spoke with Don Jones about high nitrate levels during the sanitary survey conducted in October of 2006. At that time we discussed the need for quarterly sampling (which Don began in the third quarter of 2006). This was the second of four required quarterly samples. Further examination of OARs showed that quarterly monitoring is only required for nitrite in this situation, not nitrate. I sent Don the attached letter explaining that he can return to annual sampling. ACTION NEEDED: No further action is needed.
