| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine nitrate sample collected 04/23/07 over one-half of the MCL at 6.31 ppm DETAILS: Historically nitrate samples have been over one-half of the MCL for this system. I discussed this with Pastor Dickey during the last sanitary survey in December of 2006. I spoke with Pastor Dickey in Nov. 2006 reminding him that he needs to complete one year of quarterly nitrate sampling. He began quarterly sampling in the fourth quarter of 2006 and will continue through the third quarter of 2007. The results of the previous three quarterly samples have been fairly consistently hovering around one-half of the MCL. I expect that quarterly sampling will be discontinued after one more quarter (third quarter 2007). ACTION NEEDED: One year of quarterly nitrate sampling needs to be competed (one more quarter in 2007). | ||
