Details:	SUMMARY: The arsenic sample collected 09/19/07 violated the MCL with a result of 0.0153. DETAILS: This result is consistent with historical arsenic levels. This is the first arsenic sample collected since the adoption of the new MCL. The system was notified during the last sanitary survey (10/06) that their next sample would likely violate the new standard. A letter was sent to the system with enclosed information on arsenic, treatment and public notice requirements. ACTION NEEDED: The system needs to begin quarterly arsenic sampling, issue a public notice and will likely have to install treatment.
