Details: SUMMARY: I discussed water supply with the operator. DETAILS: Since this summer the systems wells have not been producing an adequate quantity of water. The system needs to keep at least 18 feet of water in the reservoir to provide a minimum of fire fighting supply and drinking water reserves. The system has been obtaining water from the City of Lebanon and hauling using Sodavilles own tanker truck. The trucks pump broke down around Thanksgiving and is still being repaired. Meanwhile, the systems source output has improved but the wells have not been able to maintain the minimum reservoir level -- it is currently just below 18 feet. Karen is concerned that if the citys tanker truck remains out of commission the reservoir water level could drop even lower. ACTION NEEDED: Karen will contact Jim Howell, Linn County Emergency Response Coordinator, regarding the availability of tanker trucks until the City of Sodavilles truck is operational. Approximately nine months ago I discussed funding for a new well using the State Revolving Loan Funds and Karen has discussed the program with Roberto Reyes-Colon. We also discussed whether there are existing wells that the City could bring into the system. Apparently that is not a practical option at this time. Today I discussed the circuit rider program with Karen in case there are operational problems suitable for a circuit rider consult.
