Details:	SUMMARY: Dry Creek Reservoir fence break-in DETAILS: The operator last checked the reservoir last Thursday, July 10. On Monday, July 14 during his next visit, he noticed that the fence was broken into. The hatch was locked and the screened vents had not been tampered with. The City on Monday isolated the reservoir and began exclusively using the second reservoir, Oxbow. Water samples have been analyzed at the entry point for pH and conductivity, and total coliform results are absent. Additionally, the chlorine residual in the distribution system is 0.6 mg/l, similar to residual levels before the incident. The City has flushed the reservoir, as well as chlorinated the system to 1.0 mg/l and flushed the entire distribution system. The City has already gone through 2 cycles of the reservoir volume since last Thursday. City is communicating s summary of these details to its users today, July 15, to provide assurance that risk levels are low and that normal exposure to the water is acceptable. ACTION NEEDED: City will proceed as scheduled with its normal regulatory compliance sampling.
