| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic removal treatment DETAILS: I called Mike and he said they have had success in reducing the arsenic level but it was still above the MCl. He said the water temp and ph was not allowing the TP to work as effectively as it should and mentioned he was adding new equipment to oxidate iron/arsenic for filtration. Mike said they may use it in conjunction with chlorine or remove the chlorine. I asked him to contact Tom Charbonneau and make sure the method is approved. I also asked Mike to report monthly arsenic samples for Jan, Feb and March 2009. He said he would. I also informed him that Brad Daniels with DHS is going to grant him an additional 30 days to the administrative order to complete the work and get results.
