Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Phone call with system operator Mike informed me that he had taken 4 repeats on Thursday Nov 13 and only one came back positive for coliforms. The sample taken at the site of the original fecal coliform positive sample was absent. The positive sample was from a different site. Mike thinks it was positive due to him dropping the lid and using it anyway. I told him that since the fecal coliforms are absent, the boil water would be lifted. I told him to take 4 more repeats on Monday,Nov. 17, 2008 ACTION NEEDED: Await results.
