| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: 12/9/08 Spoke to operator on the phone. We discussed the need to disinfect toe water system and take 4 repeats ASAP. Five more routines are necessary for next month. She said that the probable source of contamination was the wellhead. A car bumped the well house and jarred it. She said that she thought this was the reason for the positive. We also discussed ideas to protect the well house and prevent future contamination. An email was sent describing the public notice process. 12/19/08 Talked to person in charge at the restaurant and they said the 4 repeat samples were taken to the lab on 12/18/08 ACTION NEEDED: Monitor for sampling compliance. | ||
