| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic MCL and Adminstrative Order Extension Request DETAILS: I sent Kevin an e-mail stating that his request for an extension to the AO dated April 14, 2009 would depend upon progress reported in June 19th and July 2nd updates provided by Mark Edington. It is too early at this point to identify specific compliance dates for an extension. I sent Kevin the LOI for SRF funding, treatment information, and a revised public notice for a one time mailing and permanent posting until the MCL was resolved. I also let him know that I was working with Tom Pattee to determine if there was a way to modify their existing well or drill a new well into the same aquifer that PGE Trojan accessed through their wells, which had much lower arsenic levels. ACTION NEEDED: System to provide Mark Edington with progress reports on june 19th and July 2nd, mail and post public notice, continue efforts to seek treatment and funding options, and identify alternative compliance dates should negotiations begin to revise the Administrative Order by granting an extension. DWP to assist with identifying non-treatment options to resolving the MCL. | ||
