Details:	SUMMARY: Responded to phone complaint DETAILS: Complaint referred from DEQ that the system had a very strong odor, black slimy residue and pink stains at several sites throughout the distribution unit. I spoke with the Maintenance Supervisor, Chuck, on 4/28/09 and he indicated that they do not have any problems with the system as far as he knows. They currently flush the lines once a year and test the fire hydrants. Analytical Laboratories conducts all the sampling and there chlorine residual is kept at 1.4. He also mentioned that they test throughout the distribution system and have a chlorine log if we would like to review. I gave Check the complaintants name and number to verify the complaint and determine if it was site based rather than with the water system. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time.
