Details: SUMMARY: nitrate increase DETAILS: Phone duty person Michael Perry received a call at 8:55 am regarding Canby Regency (00163) testing. The call was from Jackie of Backflow Management Inc. She was calling for Mary Howell who is the administrative contact. Mary is not in the office yet.

Canby is reporting 13 parts per million for Nitrates. Jackie believes the MCL is 10 PPM. She has left messages at Clackamas County for Joel Ferguson and Joels supervisor. Neither were in at this time.
Peter Farrelly was also notified and is also contacting Joel. ACTION NEEDED: Distribute Tier 1 Public Notice for nitrate MCL exceedance.

Take confirmation sample within 24 hours.

Assure treatment is functioning properly.

Assure springbox is well-constructed

Consider surface water influence
Consider disinfection.
