| Details: | SUMMARY: ARRA Funding Assistance DETAILS: System owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to approximately 180 people through 65 connections. The water source for the system is the Nehalem River. Water is treated by an aging Microfloc package water treatment plant. The plant has failing parts that are difficult to replace. In addition, during periods of turbidity over 5 NTU, the plant is not capable of treating water to meet the requirements of the SWTR. George Herr contacted HBH to provide general advice for the funding of a new water treatment plant. In 2007, HBH assisted the system with the completion of a Letter of Interest for the SDWRLF. It was requested by Mr Herr that HBH provide assistance with the ARRA SDWRLF. I provided direction for the water system in completing the ARRA SDWSRF Funding Application. I met with Association members to provide information on the ARRA Program. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time, | ||
