Details:	SUMMARY: Response to e. coli positive routine DETAILS: I spoke with Keith regarding a routine e.coli positive sample taken on 9/1, results received on 9/3 at 3 pm in the Portland office. Sample taken at 740 3rd St. Keith took 3 required repeats (one at routine location, one up and one down from routine). Also, Deschutes Valley Water District (which provides water to Madras) took a sample at their tie-in to Madras. Umpqua Lab in Bend has all the samples as of Thursday pm. Keith indicated that there was no line work in the area of the positive. Keith has the tier 1 boil public notice downloaded, and understands the need to distribute to all users within 24 hours of notification of a repeat total coliform positive. ACTION NEEDED: Keith to follow up with the DWP upon notification of the results of the repeat samples. DWP to provide support, especially if any of the repeats come back positive. I reiterated to Keith the need to take 5 temporary routines in October, regardless of the repeat results.
