| Details: | SUMMARY: TC positive sample DETAILS: I spoke with Dick about the sampling in October. He took 2 samples on Oct. 14th. He marked them as special. These were supposed to be routine. One was positive TC and one negative. He took three more samples on Oct. 21. Two samples were marked routine and one was repeat. The repeat sample was also supposed to be a routine. The repeat sample came back positive. When I spoke with Dick, I asked about the chlorinator. He said it was working although no residual is making it to town. There is a large chlorine demand for the system. I asked him to take 3 more routine samples. We would then see the results and go from there. ACTION NEEDED: System to collect 3 routine samples on Oct. 29th. Further action will depend on results. **NOTE** see alert COLI7017 - 2 of 3 samples collected on Oct. 29 were positive for total coliform. | ||
