Details:	SUMMARY: Reviewed status of funding and construction schedule for water project. DETAILS: Sue Newstetter is the designated grant administrator for the project, coordinating with the City, consulting engineer, and Business Oregon Department. The project has been funded for $1.5 million under the Community Development Block Grant program. The project scope includes construction of the well control facilities, arsenic treatment, and transmission line from the new well to the reservoir. The project has been delayed because of easement acquisition issues. The City has replaced the city attorney, Larry Sullivan in Vale has been hired to replace Gary Kiuna. It may still take several months to complete easement work. ACTION NEEDED: City to acquire easements so project can proceed.
