| Details: | SUMMARY: Seven Arsenic results received for 2008 & 2009 DETAILS: Scott Petterson (541-889-5405) of Lindsay Ecowater, Inc., out of Ontario has been maintaining the treatment system and taking Arsenic samples throughout the year when the school is in operation. All seven samples taken in 2008-2009 were below the MCL. Six of the seven Arsenic results indicated <0.005 mg/l, and one sample from 11/2009 indicated 0.00685 mg/l. The results were sent to the school but they apparently didn’t realize that the results should be submitted to the Drinking Water Program. Also, SDWIS shows Arsenic results for samples taken 7/19/04, and 7/23/07 that indicate 0.055 mg/l and 0.0499 mg/l. Those samples were taken when the school is not open during summer break and are not valid, therefore they should be deleted/invalidated. Scott Petterson said that he has to do significant maintenance and flushing of the treatment system each fall at start-up because of the system not operating through the summer. ACTION NEEDED: Arsenic results submitted to Data Management Unit in Portland for entry in SDWIS. Arsenic results from 7/19/04 and 7/23/07 should be deleted since school was not operating. | ||
