Details: SUMMARY: Arsenic alert DETAILS: Spoke with Chuck about recent arsenic above MCL. The sample was taken with a result of .0156. Chuck stated the Muriatic acid feed pump was down and the pH levels were around 9.2 causing the arsenic treatment unit to not properly operate. I suggested that a daily reading of pH be kept to prevent this type of sample from being submitted. He said the primary sample person usually takes daily readings but did not on the day he scheduled the quarterly arsenic sample. ACTION NEEDED: Confirmation sample required. Waiting for results. Review after two more quarterly samples.
