| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to e.coli positive alert DETAILS: Spoke to Emily, about alert generated for 5 temporary routine samples taken on 2/3/10. All five were total coliform positive, and one at the upstairs womens restroom was e.coli positive. Lab results received roughly 11 am on 2/5/10 by DWP. Cindy indicated that 10/7/09 do not drink public notice due to Oct 2009 acute coliform MCL, is still posted at all four restrooms in English and Spanish. Bottled water is provided throughout the facility. Cindy was not aware of any complaints from the work force. Cindy was not aware of 2/3/10 coliform test results, but did mention that a contractor was designing a chlorination system. ACTION NEEDED: I indicated to Cindy that copy of bilingual public notice should be posted at the other tap, near the handwashing sink on the food process floor, and that her name should be added as a contact name in the notices. Bottled water to continue to be provided to all users. I indicated in follow up conversation with Shannon Chavez, that the system should work with the sample collector, Kuo Labs, to take a sample at the wellhead and mark it as source water. DWP will consult with Oregon Dept of Agriculture, and provide support as necessary. | ||
