| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert repeat DETAILS: spoke with Marlene, owner. 3 of 4 repeats were absent of coliform. She said the person from the lab in Bend came out and took the samples without first discussing the situation with her. The positive repeat sample on the hose bib is most likely due to the fact that the faucet is outside and never used. I told Marlene about the new Ground Water Rule (GWR) and the requirement for a source sample. I mailed out the new coliform sampling plan and told her to update her sampling locations for future testing. Marlene is going to take a source sample to replace the hose bib sample and send an email to the state discussing what happened to see if she can invalidate the last positive repeat. ACTION NEEDED: Obtain additional sample from source. Waiting for results. 5 additional temporary routines required in Feb. 2010 | ||
