Details: SUMMARY: November 2009 Boil Notice re-cap DETAILS: Dave Leland, Chris Hughes, and Kari Salis met with David Shaff, Chris Wanner, Mike Sheets, Elloise Eckles, and Yone Akagi to discuss any follow-up actions after the boil water advisory in late November, 2009. Portland staff provided a Summary Report of the incident. Follow up actions proposed by Portland WB staff included: improvements to the Res 3 outlet sample tap, revision of the coliform sampling plan to include a downstream location each day a reservoir outlet is sampled, begin a same-day response policy for follow-up sampling and analysis, creating a decision matrix, and exploring other coliform analysis methods. The coliform sampling plan revision will take up to 6 months to get the new sample stations installed. The WB will write a letter within the next week or so outlining what has been done, and the next steps and timelines. ACTION NEEDED: review revised coliform sampling plan when submitted.
