Details: SUMMARY: Arsenic .016 - 12/16/09 DETAILS: Contacted Wayne at Canby school district. Let him know about the high arsenic result from 12/16/09 and he already knew about it. The system needs to take 4 quarters worth of arsenic sampling and average the results to determine if they exceed the MCL. He said that he understood. We also discussed that it might be a good idea to plan ahead and start thinking about treatment options and he agreed. I told him tit maybe e a good idea to contact North Marion School district or McLearan as they are nearby and have installed or are going through the process for arsenic removal treatment. Wayne said he would contact the lab ASAP to get another arsenic sample scheduled. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor quarterly samples. Submit chemical monitoring schedule update/contact Pete Farrely at the state to get system onto quarterly samples for a year.
