| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed compliance deadlines for arsenic MCL DETAILS: I called Mike to discuss establishing deadlines to resolve the systems exceedance of the MCL for arsenic. Mike stated that he had worked with HBH and Delta Environmental to determine water quality parameters and determine an effective treatment system. He stated that HBH was in the process of preparing a grant application for the system, and that Delta Environemntal was designing a treatment system. I stated we would need to formalize compliance deadlines while the situation worked towards compliance with the MCL. We agreed that I would either mail or arrange for delivery of a draft compliance agreement for Mikes review. I also discussed the lack of a public notice submitted by the system since the MCL exceedance was realized. I told Mike we needed a copy of the notice, and to work with Katrinka Danielson on the proper template/style for the notice. ACTION NEEDED: Discuss estimated timelines and action with engineering companies, have the system submit public notice for the arsenic MCL exceedance, and draft a compliance agreement for review by the system. | ||
