Details:	SUMMARY: Arsenic Exceeding MCL Assistance DETAILS: Pratum Elementary is a small rural grade school in the Silver Falls School District. The school is a NTNC system with a daily service population of about 91 people. The well had exceeded the arsenic MCL until an adsorptive media process from Sunshine Water (using ADIG2 Media) was installed. Arsenic levels subsequently dropped to non detect levels. This method worked for about 1 year, and then the Arsenic levels again climbed above the MCL. Pete contacted HBH for assistance with the arsenic issue. I met with Pete and a representative from Scheider Equipment, the installed of the system and reviewed the media type and existing water quality data. ACTION NEEDED: I recommended comprehensive chemical/physical testing to determine if the adsorption media is proper for this application.
