Details:	SUMMARY: Surface Water Treatment Rule DETAILS: HBH was contacted by Gwen Healy with system for help regarding non-approved bad filters for water treatment. The resort serves up to 50 staff and 300 guests through 49 connections, which includes full time residents. Currently water is diverted from the Breitenbush River and piped 600’ where the water is pumped through a series of treatment systems. The first treatment is a particulate separator that is followed by a media filter and them bag filters before it is chlorinated and piped to a 20,000 gallon concrete reservoir. Currently the bag filters being used by system are not approved by the Drinking Water Program. I assisted Mrs Healy with information of approved water treatment systems that could meet both their needs as well as the EPA and Health Division requirements. In addition to provide assistance with the identification of approved cartridge filters provided brief analysis of other treatment options. ACTION NEEDED: Requested help with a CT test.
