Details:	SUMMARY: Broken Main in Haven Acres DETAILS: Carrie Gentry forwarded me Fred Humphrys number to contact regarding a main break she had spoken to the City about. I called Fred and he said that they were out of water due to a main break and both the City and the developer of Haven Acres was refusing to fix the broken main. I explained to him that Joe Carlson had spoken to the City and told them that they had to fix the main and that it would be fixed by about 5 pm that night. Fred said that the main had broken 5 times since Christmas and that each time the developer had done the repairs. Fred couldnt understand why they were paying twice the normal water rate as residents in town, but the City was not acknowleding responsibility for the system. I told Fred that discussions would occur with the City about this issue and that I would update him when I knew more. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to contact Fred with progress updates regarding the ownership and maintenance of the Haven Acres water system.
