Details: SUMMARY: Excessive turbidity DETAILS: Frank reported that a change in water chemistry and application of Poly aluminum chloride has resulted in turbidity at 10 , well above the 5.5 ntu where a boil notice is required. Frank experimented with jar testing at MP treatment plant and anticipates long term improvement for the system ACTION NEEDED: Confirmed that boil notice is required to both full time renters and transients ASAP. Send a copy of the notice to the state in Portland with the months surface water report. Discussed removing notice only after ntu has dropped to acceptable range, below 1.5, for multiple days.
