Details:	SUMMARY: Discussed nitrate levels and biosolid application DETAILS: Matthew called to discuss the enforcement letter currently open agsinst the water system, and how the suspension of biosolid application by the City of Wilsonville may have been affecting water quality in the well supplying the system. NW Hazelnut will not be able to submit plan review materials by the May 31 deadline in the September 23, 2009 Notice of Violation letter. Mr. moore believes that nitrate levels will decline now that biosolid application has ceased, but the City of Wilsonville also states in a letter that they are in compliance with all DEQ regulations for the application of such material. Mr. Moore does contend that the application is too close to his well. I also mentioned that the program is considering how to respond to the coliform contamination of the well. I also discussed the well review conducted by Tom Pattee and the identification of three water bearing zones which could possibly be contributing to the contamination. ACTION NEEDED: Await recommendation from management about how to proceed regarding the coliform presence in the well and the deadline for installation of nitrate treatment likely to be missed by the system.
