Details: SUMMARY: Well supply is diminishing and draw down is getting critical DETAILS: The well depth is 700 feet and the pump is set at 636 ft. Now there is only 98 feet of water over the pump, and normal level is 209 feet above the pump. The well is pumping at 350 gpm and Dan has implemented some watering restrictions on major users like the school. The 300,000 gallon reservoir is operating between 24 ft. - 32 ft. I advised Dan to contact the City Council to implement mandatory watering restrictions to hopefully avoid drawing the water level in the well down to the pump. Dan will contact the pump supplier to review pump operations for maximum efficiency. ACTION NEEDED: City to implement watering restrictions to curtail excessive use.
