Details:	SUMMARY: Compliance with Groundwater Rule DETAILS: The school has a groundwater system that provides drinking water to the 105 students and faculty. There is a single well located just to the west of the school. The well has had positive coliform results. There have also been positive e-coli samples. The EPA Groundwater Rule mandates that corrective actions are taken to either fix the source of the problem or provide 4-log treatment of the viruses that would be associated with positive e coli results. The school has chosen to install chlorination at this point. HBH was contacted by the school to provide assistance with ensuring compliance with the Groundwater Rule. I completed corrective action report recommending that the school install additional contact time to comply with the 4-log inactivation of viruses requirement of the Ground Water Rule. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time.
