| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ response DETAILS: I may have mixed up alert ID#s / results. Elloise called 8/18 to report a TC+ out of reservoir 1 (open). They did repeats, but 2 of the 3 repeats were negative, but the same location was still positive. We discussed repeat locations. Once was taken from a gate house tank that pulls directly from the reservoir. The routine sample was taken at the first tap out of the outlet, and the downstream location was taken further downstream. This seems fine. I told her we arent interested in an "upstream" location prior to the open reservoir. They generally also take other special samples. Also, they are doing 2 analytical methods side by side, colilert 18 they are not certified for, but it takes 6 hours less time, so they use it as an informal heads up. It appears to be more sensitive to total coliform than the regular colilert method. ACTION NEEDED: none. Below MCL. | ||
