Reasons: Lead or Copper
N/A

Details: SUMMARY: Resolution of the alert exceedence of 90th% value for lead. DETAILS: Water quality Alert: CHEM3795 Lead - This is a resolution of the alert originally dated 10/23/10. After making a determination at the end of June 2010 (approximately 06/24/10) that the original sample was not a representative sample, it was requested by the State DWP and LCPH that the system take a repeat sample at the same tap. More specific directions were given to the system to let the tap flush for 20 - 30 minutes, then allow to sit at least 8 hours (this was instructed so that the re-sample would more closely resemble a sample taken after normal usage). The sample was collected on 07/01/10 and the results were determined on 07/08/10 by the water lab. The new sample had a value of .0043 mg/L, reading well below the MCL. After this sample-- it has been determined there is not an exceedance of the 90th% value for lead for this system, and the system does not need to take additional action and can return to their normal sampling plan. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time.
