Details: SUMMARY: Discussed water quality and pressure issues with compainant. DETAILS: Complainant came in office to discuss his concerns further. Jay thought the most likely cause if the complaint is the water is stagnant in the last section of pipe. Black is typical with manganese materials. He thought the solution would be for the water system to put a blow off at the property line and to periodical flush. He said the low pressure could be from obstructions of the main of the pipe on private property that can not be flushed, or inadequate pressure is the distribution system. I explained these ideas to the complainant. ACTION NEEDED: Discuss with operator at survey.
