Details:	SUMMARY: Funding Assistance DETAILS: System operates a small system that serves approximately 50 people through 18 connections. Water from the well is chlorinated then pumped to a 6,000 gallon storage tank. From there, water is re-pressurized and distributed throughout the system. System has had positive coliform results from their source, which triggered source water monitoring per the EPA Standards. The samples also tested positive for E. coli. The EPA Ground Water Rule (GWR) mandates that corrective actions are taken to either fix the source of the problem, or provide for 4-log treatment of the viruses that would be associated with positive E Coli results. System originally contacted HBH to provide assistance with compliance with the GWR. HBH was subsequently contacted to provide assistance with funding application for a new well. I met with system personnel, rural Community Assistance Corp and Washington County financing officials regarding infrastructure improvements. I provided cost estimation assistance and met with system personnel on-site regarding potential improvements and corresponded with Washington County financing officials. ACTION NEEDED: Assist system with funding application assistance as needed.
