| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Positive sample 10/22 at Caboose site and positive repeat sample collected 10/24 at Caboose sample location in distribution system. 10/27/09 contacted operator and he stated the sample site is a stand pipe in yard outside a seasonal use house that most likely has a leak thus leading to contamination. Sample across the street, Elaines, was negative along with samples up & down stream. Discussed back flow risk, operator states there is none, and will notify owner of leaky pipe. Mr. jones to change sample site and not use caboose again. ACTION NEEDED: communicated request for invalidation to state 11/3/09 via email to Evan hofeld. It is too late to take replacement sample. Further action by state pending decision. | ||
