Details:	SUMMARY: Discussed lack of arsenic treatment at the water system DETAILS: Dee called to inform me that Desert Pump has provided the water system with an estimated cost for installation of an arsenic treatment system. Dee stated the system couldnt afford the cost of the treatment system, and couldnt provide any valid reason as to why the system submitted plans in 2009 that werent pursued or why the system isnt taking more significant action now. I directed her to HBH Consulting Engineers to seek assistance in requesting a SRF loan. I notified Dee that the system is now formally violating the deadline established in the notice of violation issued previously, and as such the State will take additional enforcement action. ACTION NEEDED: The Drinking Water Program will either propose civil penalties against the water system, or will issue an administrative order with new construction deadlines.
