Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliform sample DETAILS: System continues to have positive coliform samples. Spoke with Mr. Summers today and they are in the process of super chlorination the system. System consists of two wells, three storage tanks and a distribution system. The samples taken at 6438 Maholo Dr is an actual sampling tap tat is used only for water samples. It is also located at the end of the line and happens to be close to Mr. Summers residence. The faucet was flushed and torched prior to sampling on the December sample. He will have five temporary routine samples taken plus an additional source sample. We expect six samples two of which will be well #1 and #2 samples. The system is considering using UV. Gave him HBH contact information and discussed the Plan review process. Also discussed the need for a small systems operator and gave him the info about upcoming class in Salem Mr. Summers informed me it is quire likely that he will no longer be involved with the system since it is his plan to sell his property and move. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routine samples required at this time
