Details:	SUMMARY: Review of Dec 2010 and Jan 2011 SWTR reports DETAILS: I provided feedback on the December 2010 and Jan 2011 SWTR reports provided today by Jim. I stressed the importance of contacting the DWP right away, whenever turbidities spike above 0.3 NTU, as they did in late December. Jim indicated that tube to effluent NTU meter had air and may have caused elevated readings. Problem corrected with air in tube and NTUs came down below 0.2 NTU in Jan 2011. Also, system had determined appropriate polymer dose and that has lowered effluent NTUs as well. Jim indicated that he had contacted other certified operators, HBH and OAWU to receive input on their plant operations. I again requested that CTs be calculated daily and pH, temp and free chl residual be measured daily at Epoint. I also stressed the need to measure raw NTU daily. ACTION NEEDED: James to forward monthly reports over to DMCE for entry. DWP to continue to provide support and keep close eye on plant operations and daily reporting of SWTR parameters.
