Details:	SUMMARY: Follow up on surface water treatment plant DETAILS: Jim updated me on the status of the treatment plant and securing a certified operator. Midland contracted with Micah Olsen to be DRC operator for distribution only. I indicated plant still needed DRC for treatment. As for the plant, polymer dosage is determined by Streaming Current Meter reads. Filters backwashed based on head loss, ususally every couple of days. Jim indicated that manual grab readings of filtered NTU and filter to waste NTU are being done. Filtered water already monitored continuously by chart, but grabs done to verify chart recordings. Jim to email James plant operations and maintenance manual. ACTION NEEDED: James to review O&M manual and provide comments to Jim. James to follow up day to day operations and SWTR monitoring and reporting with Jim or Scott MacGregor, whos filling in for Jim for the next 3 weeks, while Jim is out of state.
