| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Coliform Assistance DETAILS: System owns and operates a ground water system consisting of a single well that provides water to 50 people through 18 connections. The system has dual distribution lines-- one is dedicated to irrigation while the other is for domestic use. HBH was contacted to provide technical advice regarding possible causes of positive coliform results. A site visit was preformed to look over the system and help Mr Storlie identify possible sources of contaminations. HBH visited system to look for potential issues. Proper sampling procedures were reviewed for collecting coliform samples. Also, Mr Storlie asked for a calculation of how much 5.25% NaOCI to add to his reservoir to disinfect/clean it on an annual basis. This calculation was provided along with recommendations for proper procedures for performing the cleaning. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time | ||
