Details:	SUMMARY: Filter Operations General Assistance DETAILS: HBH was contacted by the water system to provide general assistance and review the operation of the filtration system, as well as possibility of setting up a contact tracer study. The System has a packaged direct filtration water treatment plant which provides drinking water to 160 people through 70 connections. Jim Kuhns is relative new to the operation of the treatment plan and wanted to know how things were being done, as well as the physical condition of the plant. HBH met with Mr Kuhns at the treatment plant and reviewed the general operation of the plant. Made recommendations regarding jar testing, the possibility of trying a coagulation-specific chemical for treatment, possible replacement of the filter media and the repair of the surface wash. HBH also researched historic flows and reservoir operational levels for the possible CT Study to be completed. ACTION NEEDED: Provide recommendations/observations memo to the system and review need for a contact tracer study to determine actual CT values.
