Details:	SUMMARY: Boil water notice lifted - Midland DETAILS: I confirmed with Jim, that DWP received copies of two coliform absent results from lab, taken on 3/25, at two separate locations in the distribution system: 14043 Midland Distribution Road, and 15692 River Fort Road, two separate ends of the distribution system. Jim indicated that the samples were well flushed, and taken at approved sampling locations. Based on the DWPs procedure for responding to treatment/disinfection interruptions, and given that chlorine residual is up to 1.2 mg/L and turbidity down to below 0.2 NTU on Sunday 3/27, and the absent bactis, I indicated that Midland may lift the 3/18 boil water notice, and notify residents that the water is safe to drink. Jim will notify using phone calls today. ACTION NEEDED: I recommended that Jim take his April routine bacteria sample next Wed (4/6). DWP to continue to support Midland to meet surface water treatment rule requirements for both turbidity and disinfection.
