| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water - no pressure on Louden Road DETAILS: Jim called on 5/24 to indicate that approximately 70 connections on Louden Road in the area around Mannthey and Deverell Roads will be out of water (no pressure) and on a boil notice on Thursday 5/26, as the District is putting in 3 fire hydrants and 2 gate valves in an area previously with no valves/hydrants. Door hangers posted on all 70 connections with instructions to review website to see when boil is lifted. Jim referenced that District will follow BMP for responding to service outages due to reduced pressure events. System called on 5/27 to indicate that the work has been completed, water service restored, over 100 psi pressure is maintained and free chlorine residual is detected at over 1.0 mg/L, in affected area, as required by BMP. Two special coliform samples taken along Lounden Road in area of impact on 5/26/11 came back coliform absent on 5/27 at 515 pm. I indicated to Jim system could lift boil notice. ACTION NEEDED: Jim will update District website to indicate that boil notice has been lifted due to pressure and residuals returning and coliform absent samples. Door hangers provided District phone number. I provided Jim OERS manager number in case questions come up over the weekend. | ||
