| Details: | SUMMARY: Frcal coliform presumptive on 7/11/11 DETAILS: Received call from Larry this morning. During cleaning of the reservoir, biofilm was notice on the bottom of reservoir and growing on the walls. Contractor took a sample with non sanitized water bottle. Sample was analyzed at TCCA lab which is no longer state certified, and was fecal coliform positive. Larry took another sample in distribution with a clean bottle and it was positive as well. He has increased the residual to 1.0ppm. It was recommended that boil water notice be issued and radio broadcast. Larry has called Ron Larson to help with draining the reservoir. He will keep system charged and up the chlorine residual. It was recommended that he issues a conserve water notice as well. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
