Details:	SUMMARY: Status for reactivating Well 3-- tolulene sampling DETAILS: Erica Anderson previously phoned to say the work was completed at Well 3, she had negative coliform samples, and wanted to know when it oculd be reactivated. Today she emailed me plans for the most recent work at that well (re-routing lines above ground, new pumphouse) and faxed the negative coliform samples. I consulted with Fred Kalish, who had done the original Plan Review. He agreed to look at the newest plans informally, as he would like to see the change of chlorine injection point. I emailed Erica that I would not reactivate the well until hearing from Fred. Meanwhile, she was informed that she would need to start the quarterly tolulene sampling this quarter (after reactivation), and we would review that status after 2 quarterly samples had been submitted. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for approval of new chlorine injection set-up by DWP engineer. Then reactivate well and establish the quarterly sampling schedule for tolulene.
