Details: SUMMARY: High lead levels DETAILS: Landon took 5 lead and copper samples September 21, 2011. Two of those samples one from the teachers lunch room sin and 1 from the teachers bathroom faucet, exceeded the MCL .0155mg/L for lead at a high of .0216mg/L. Subsequently he resampled the 2faucets. The teachers bathroom sink faucet was below the lead MCL but the teachers lunch room sink faucet was above the MCL for lead. ACTION NEEDED: The school is working on a plan to repipe the school water system. They will also be considering ading treatment to raise the pH in the meantime no one is drinking first draw water from the sink in the teachers lunchroom sink.
